Overview
The KUNZ AETS Aircraft Emergency Towing System is a complete, purpose-built solution for the emergency towing and recovery of disabled aircraft. Each set consists of load cells, round slings, shackles and digital indication equipment, all mounted in a robust aluminium case for rapid deployment.
The integrated load cells enable the permissible towing load to be set precisely, triggering a visual and acoustic alarm if the limit is exceeded. Peak load values are stored in memory for post-operation review and documentation. When using a pulley configuration, towing can be performed with a single towing vehicle.
Sets are available for 5, 20, 30, 55 and 80 tonnes capacity per landing gear, covering all aircraft from regional jets to the Airbus A380.
